I am mesmerized by the Marchesa Fall 2012 runway pieces. They are absolutely stunning. From the delicate silver hand-painted feathers to the gorgeous lace embroidery on each centimeter of the gown. Marchesa is truly one of my favorite designers and one day I would love to attend the spring or fall fashion show. Each season there is an inspiration from a art piece and the Fall 2012 was inspired by the nineteenth-century French painter William-Adolphe Bouguereau’s A Soul Brought to Heaven. The art work depicts a woman on clouds along side two angels. This collection has made me drool and I can only anticipate to see what will inspire Spring 2013

I forgot how exquisite Marchesa's designs were until now! The detailing is just amazing, and I love the billowing skirt of the last dress!
